There is nothing like a warm fresh baked cookie right out of the oven. But if you really cannot wait you can "bake" a cookie in the microwave. In 30 seconds. Yup, 30 seconds.
Take a single Rebecca's Nut-Free cookie "puck" out of the freezer and put it on a microwave safe plate. Cook on High Power for 30 seconds. The cookie will be VERY HOT ESPECIALLY FOR CHILDREN, so be sure to wait a couple of minutes before eating. If it is a chocolate chip cookie, the chocolate chips do get very very hot. So please wait. Just one or two more minutes.
It won't be as good as an oven-baked cookie, but it's not bad actually, and it seemed to satisfy the college students just fine.
If you happen to have oven-baked cookies still around for a couple of days, you can warm a cookie in the microwave to soften it a bit and melt those chocolate chips. Cook on 50% power for 15 seconds. That should do the trick.
